AI Film Hackathon, Dublin.
Creative Director Julian Esposito joined the creative support team at Give(a)Go's two-day AI film hackathon in Dublin.

The format
Two days, fixed brief, teams of writers, directors and technologists working end-to-end on a short film using AI tooling. Julian was on the mentor rota — helping teams pressure-test ideas, tighten scripts and steer their pipelines when things went sideways.
What we saw
The strongest work came from teams that treated AI as a collaborator, not a shortcut — writing sharp, human scripts first, and then leaning on AI for look development, coverage and iteration speed. The films that landed hardest were the ones with a clear point of view.
Takeaways
Hackathons like Give(a)Go are one of the best places to see where the tools actually are — not where the demos say they are. We came away with a running list of workflow ideas we're now testing back in the studio.
